Kitchener photographers Deb and Bill Hall found photography was a pastime they could enjoy together.  Bill got his first camera at age 13 and photography has been his passion ever since.  Deb's move beyond the world of snapshots came soon after she met Bill.  She found that making pictures was a lot more fun than lugging Bill's equipment around.

Deb and Bill have a wide range of photographic interests and experience. They spent a number of years focusing on portrait and wedding photography, but in recent years, travel photography has been their passion.

Their love of travel has taken them to destinations in Canada, the U.S.A. and abroad, both as independent travelers and on organized tours.  They have learned that both types of travel can offer a rewarding experience.  Deb and Bill have hosted photo tours to Scotland and the Yukon with Photo Tour Trekkers out of London, Ontario.

They love sharing their travel experiences through audio-visual presentations, encouraging people to pick up their cameras and explore the world around them, be it near or far.

Although Deb has had to step away from photography, Bill continues to be active, spurred on by the memory of Deb’s enthusiasm and support over the years.

Bill spent several years developing and teaching technical training courses in the aviation industry and has transferred this experience to his photography by offering workshops and seminars on various photographic subjects.

Deb and Bill have been active in camera clubs for many years and Bill is currently a member of the Grand River Imaging & Photographic Society (GRIPS) and the London Camera Club. Bill is also a long-time member of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA). He is a CAPA certified judge and the CAPA District Representative in Southwestern Ontario District 2.
